[DISCUSSION] Skepta - Konnichiwa (5 years later) Posted: 06 May 2021 04:49 AM PDT After a four year hiatus from his mixtape "Blacklisted", Skepta released his fourth studio album "Konnichiwa"after suffering several delays. There was a lot of anticipation for this album due to the exposure Skepta had received from performing with Kanye West at the 2015 BRIT Awards as well as Drake referring to Skepta's clash with Devilman on his Instagram. The release of this album was supported by four lead singles, including the smash hits "That's Not Me" and "Shutdown". Konnichiwa sees guest features from members of the A$AP Mob, fellow BBK natives (such as Jammer, JME and Frisco) as well as production/feature credits from Pharrell Williams on the track "Numbers" Track list:
For me personally, this was one of the strongest rap records in a already competitive year that was 2016. But what do you think? Let me know your thoughts!

[DISCUSSION] Kaytranada - 99.9% (5 Years Later) Posted: 06 May 2021 06:37 AM PDT After many years on the Soundcloud scene, Kaytranada delivered a vibrant and colourful debut album, 99.9%. With influences from hip-hop, funk, R&B, and Dance music, the help of several impressive drummers including Karriem Riggins and Alexander Sowinski, features from the likes of Anderson .Paak, Syd, Phonte and Goldlink, and samples ranging from Brazillian pop, afro-psych, British electronic and 70s funk, Kaytranada showed the world a distinct and infectious style of production.
