| 2020 Album of the Year Write Up - Megathread Posted: 29 Jan 2021 04:53 AM PST Thank you to everyone who did a write-up and everyone who upvoted, read and engaged with the posts. I know not every major album in 2020 got a writeup, but these were the albums that the writers felt passionate enough to write about and I don't think there was a single bad write up. This was my first time running the writeups and everything seemed to go pretty well (except for the person who was supposed to do Juice Wrld write up but deleted his account the day before he was supposed to post - Fuck you). I don't know if I will be running this next year, but let me know what could be done better and how we could get more engagement with each post. Teased with single, which turned into a massive hit, 4. Work ft. Drake. This album was already set to a great start. Had massive shortfilms posted on her YouTube channel. It featured co-production from the likes of a young Travis Scott, an amazing feature from an up-and-coming (at least to the mainstream) SZA and a cover of Tame Impala's 13. New Person, Same Old Mistakes. This album would turn out to be one of her best project, her best in many's eyes (mine included). Some of my personal favorites are; 1. Consideration ft. SZA, 7. Needed Me, 11. Love on The Brain, 12. Higher (my fave), 13. Close to You. What do y'all think of it 5 years later? What were some of your favorite songs? What expectations does this put on her next album? The latest allegations, which arrived via screenshots of DMs from several women on Peterson's Instagram, see the couple being alleged to have engaged in—among other things—sexual abuse. In a series of Instagram Stories updates on Thursday, Peterson shared excerpts from conversations she's had with more than a dozen women. Among the accusations are that T.I. and Tiny allegedly required women to take drugs before entering their home, as well as reported instances of assault and alleged facilitation of sexual abuse. In a statement to Complex from a spokesperson for Tip "T.I." Harris and Tameka "Tiny" Harris, the couple called the allegations "egregiously appalling" and alleged to have experienced "difficulty" with Peterson for more than 10 years. "They are taking this matter very seriously," the spokesperson said. Read the full statement below: "Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on record and more importantly want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson. The Harrises have had difficulty with this woman for well over a decade. They are taking this matter very seriously." Tiny—by way of an IG post—defended T.I. against the aforementioned allegation of holding a gun to Peterson's head.
