If you're looking for a recommendation give a description/music link/artist so that other people will know what you want.

Example: I want to hear an artist that sounds like old Kanye (you can get more specific but that's enough imo). And then someone will respond with X, Y, and Z

You can also recommend an artist/project/scene

Example: You guys should check out DJ Mustard's mixtape Ketchup RIYL (recommended if you like) post-hyphy and minimalistic west coast beats.

Remember, the point of this thread is to share music, try not to post stuff that's already really popular unless it answers someone's question.

Also the more descriptive you guys are with your posts the easier it is to help you find what you want, just stating an artists name isn't that helpful since you might only like one specific aspect of that artist's music.

I appreciate all the support and advice after my last post and wanted to give an update on the situation.

Bubba reached out to me a couple days ago and was really cool and genuinely apologetic for taking so long to get back to me. He wasn't shitty with me for making the post, but empathetic to my thought process.

He explained that he's been going through some life stuff lately and has been preoccupied with that, while offering that that's no excuse for the lack of communication.

He said if I still wanted a verse that he'd love to do it, and to not worry about the rest of the payment- but understands if I just want my money back. This guy has been one of my favorite rappers for almost 20 years sooooooooo I opted for the verse.

He went in the studio and knocked it out the same day. The verse is 🔥🔥🔥 SOOOOO GOOD

I feel really good about how the situation was resolved, and after a long conversation with him, I genuinely believe he's a good guy.

Peace and love to all, and I can't wait to share the track with you soon!
