Opinions on the album? Did the appreciation over its innovative sound continue after one week or was it just a glorified melodic trap album?

Next time you mention , PAC , Biggie and Jay Z . Don’t forget Weezy F Baby .

So, I've seen ALOT of debate , about everyone's top rappers . And of course it's 100% personal opinion . But I've noticed a lot of people mention the obvious old heads , some mid rappers ( kinda old but still alive / some making music ) for example , TI , Gucci , Eminem , 50 Cent and so on . And Of course everyone (25 under ) seems like , all vote for some of the new guys , either love em or hate em .

And I see these debates everywhere in all platforms , threads , comments , subs, etc. Don't get me wrong , XXX , Juice Wrld , and all the younger guys who died ( RIP ) are good / we're good , and really talented . But I think we can agree the wave in hip hop / Rap music follows the fan base . If it weren't for the fans , those buying and supporting these guys , they wouldn't be famous . So just because a generation supports a rapper or artist , doesn't mean that specific rapper / artist is "legend status" .

But in a lot of these arguments , Top 10's , best rapper alive comments , Legends , and all those similar . I hardly see Lil Wayne being mentioned . I 100% believe and genuinely think he deserves to be mentioned in one of the greatest rappers of all time . All his accomplishments, the amount of music he's produced , how big his status was at his peak , he made songs everyone listened too. Not just hip hop heads , those who liked rap . Those in the streets , but I knew teachers who mentioned they listened to him. My mom hated rap and would tolerate listening to lil Wayne . His creativity , his word play and flow was so interchangeable , he could switch beats and completely start rapping about something different than previously before . The amount of artist he's worked with featured .

It's just crazy as a kid growing up , in school and after . He was huge . And yeah his music kinda fell off at his end of peak . But he even signed some of the greatest rappers from the Era . At one point in time , YMCMB was almost untouchable and everyone with a name was doing songs with them or signed to them .

I hate to say this , but I feel if he would have died when he was at his peak , he would be mentioned all the time . Even a lot of the newer rappers and those who came out after him, claim he's they're role model and he's inspired so many flows and of course , the wave of rappers claiming blood (in my opinion is wasn't just him , but he was a big influence )

Sad you don't hear his name mentioned with all the others . Or at least I don't.
