If you're looking for a recommendation give a description/music link/artist so that other people will know what you want.

Example: I want to hear an artist that sounds like old Kanye (you can get more specific but that's enough imo). And then someone will respond with X, Y, and Z

You can also recommend an artist/project/scene

Example: You guys should check out DJ Mustard's mixtape Ketchup RIYL (recommended if you like) post-hyphy and minimalistic west coast beats.

Remember, the point of this thread is to share music, try not to post stuff that's already really popular unless it answers someone's question.

Also the more descriptive you guys are with your posts the easier it is to help you find what you want, just stating an artists name isn't that helpful since you might only like one specific aspect of that artist's music.

Look through past posts here

ALSO please check out this thread for a list of some of the most popular recommendation requests and the suggestions provided

Dissapointed at Lil Uzi Vert show (Rant)

Posted: 22 Jul 2017 05:36 PM PDT

I don't know where else to post this, but I need to get this off my chest. Last night i went to the Lil Uzi Vert show in Sokol Auditorium in Omaha. As a fan of his music i was hella hyped for this shit. The doors to the venue opened at 7:00 and i got in around 7:30. At 8:00 a local dj was the opener, playing normal shit like 21 Savage - No Heart and Lil Pump - Molly, you know regular shit. He kept on saying that uzi was "on his way to the stage". I became suspicious when he played until 9:30, an hour and a half opener is not normal. Then this garbage group called ROach got on until 10:30 after they were booed off with people chanting "we want uzi", but this shit is about lil uzi so lets get to him. The show was scheduled to end at 11:00, but here i was standing and waiting at 11:20 w/ no sign of uzi in or out the venue. I got pissed and impatient so i checked the venue twitter and uzi's twitter to see if they were havin a delay or some shit. None of them had an update of the situation and the staff said nothing. After standing for 4 hrs straight i got impatient and hauled ass out of there. 40 minutes after i left the venue Uzi finally hopped on stage. According to many of my friends who stayed there, Uzi only performed for 25 minutes, playing about 45 seconds of many songs, and repeating many songs like 3 times. I wasted $90 for 2 tickets on this shit. Does he not have respect for his fans if he only played for 25 minutes and made them wait almost 5 hours to see him? Sorry if this seems like a childish rant here i just need to say this somewhere.

Edit 1: Doors to the venue opened at 7:00, show didn't officially start until 8:00

Edit 2: This was my first rap show

Edit 3: I talked to many local people who went to the show, most of them if not all agreed it was the worst show they have ever been to
