If y'all remember we've done [HYPE WEEK] a bunch of times.

Previous weeks: 1, 2 and 3. If someone wants to make a Spotify playlist of everything that's been posted so far I can add it to the OP and future OPs.

Rules

Artists qualify if they're never gotten 50 or more upvotes on /r/HipHopHeads (counting features)

Formatting:

Artist - Title

Description: no character minimum but some things that might be good to include: where the rapper is from, what subgenres they might fall into, have cosigns they might have, what their influences are/who they sound like.

Example:

Aaron May - Let Go

17 year old Houston Rapper, biggest influences are J Cole and Nas.

The highest upvoted songs might be collected for a playlist or something.

Heavily recommended: If you post a song, listen to another song and comment on it. Otherwise it doesn't rly work that well.

Dallas based civil-rights rapper. Has hardly any listeners on streaming services. He's retweeted me twice and liked 3 of my tweets because I'm always talking about him on Twitter. He's incredibly talented. This song is about the falsehood of flexing, but he has a lot of songs on things like racial profiling, police brutality, elected politicians, slavery, etc.

Atlanta rapper/singer, genre-hopper, his first breakout single was "Slow It Down" which [Earmilk described as "a blend of neo-soul, hip -hop and a slight hint of trap". "BLUE" song kind of reminds me of Kid Cudi and Kevin Abstract, I discovered it in Spotify's Fresh Finds playlists.
