So it's officially been a year since her most controversial album, not because of the album itself but because of the rollout and drama around it. I'll be honest even though she took things a bit far I really felt like she had some legitimate reasons to be frustrated, but as a fan of hers I wish she handled it better. All of the bullshit was extra frustrating because in my opinion this is a damn good album. There are some really great tracks such as Hard White, Good Form, Barbie Dreams, Chun Li and Chun Swae. I thought this was one of her better albums and probably the most hip hop focused one. A couple of the slower songs are just ok but I enjoyed the entire project. I'm sure the comments on this will be mostly focused on her temper tantrum but as far as the music goes, Nicki put out a solid project that would have easily been number 1 if it wasn't competing with the juggernaut that was Astroworld. I mean she still sold about 200k first week which is way more than other albums that have debuted at number 1 with less competition. I'm sure I can guess the general consensus of this sub on the album but I'm curious if anyone has any interesting thoughts on the album.
