If you're looking for a recommendation give a description/music link/artist so that other people will know what you want.

Example: I want to hear an artist that sounds like old Kanye (you can get more specific but that's enough imo). And then someone will respond with X, Y, and Z

You can also recommend an artist/project/scene

Example: You guys should check out DJ Mustard's mixtape Ketchup RIYL (recommended if you like) post-hyphy and minimalistic west coast beats.

Remember, the point of this thread is to share music, try not to post stuff that's already really popular unless it answers someone's question.

Also the more descriptive you guys are with your posts the easier it is to help you find what you want, just stating an artists name isn't that helpful since you might only like one specific aspect of that artist's music.

Brockhampton is performing at Boston Calling right now without Ameer

I'm at Boston Calling right now and BH came out without Ameer. Every time he would normally have a verse, everyone stops and they just play the beat with no one else filling in. This shit is painful.

EDIT: wtf I think Joba is crying now? Wtf is happening send help

EDIT 2: JUNKY was the last song. Dom cut his verse halfway and walked off stage shaking his head. Kevin said goodbye and they left. This was the most awkward and painful concert I've ever seen. Shambles.

EDIT 3: here is a video of everyone on stage staying silent That was wild. I understand why they chose to handle this situation this way, but at the same time I would really appreciate if they would just give people an update about what's going on. They all seemed pretty fucking bummed out on stage, especially when it would normally be Ameer's verse. Merlyn was still lit though.

Kanye, asked me if I would come help him with his album again. I wasn't seeking Kanye... he was seeking me. I spoke to your husband about peace, and balance, as well as about the work that we have been doing in Chicago regarding Donda's House. He was more interested in his record.

Understand that the mission of Donda's House has always been the value of collaboration, community and empowering youth to pursue their creative goals and dreams. What part about that would make it worthy of you or anyone else destroying it? Speak to the 500+ youth that we've worked with!

Show up to the upcoming audition that we have scheduled for yougn people to perofrm at festivals this upcoming Friday. Foot the bill as we have done, for youth to record or contact more of your famous friends to actually come and sit down with youth.

How can you criticize an organization that you've never physically been to OR that you've never even talked to the Executive Director or any of the team. And lastly, I actually knew and was mentored by Dr. Donda West personally, and have met with and spoke to hundreds of her students and mentees who not only support the work that we are doing in Chicago, but compel it.

At this is point, if you and Kanye want us to dissolve the organization so that you can do the work, we welcome that. As we will continue from our home on the South Side of Chicago, to do what we can to support the community we've worked five years to build in spite of you & Kanye's lack of interest or support. You have been not privy to the conversations that we've had, the emails that have been sent, and frankly the positive press that Kanye has received as a result of our work. I encourage you instead of attacking me personally, to google us, watch videos on our YouTube channel featuring our work and come actually speak to the young people who have been involved in our program before you, in your position of privilege from God knows where in the world, via social media attempt to dismantle this valued comunity asset.

You and your team kno how to get in contact with me, and we are awaiting your decision, because our community will be ok, regardless.
