January 23rd he broke the previous record of 4.03m (held by Kendrick Lamar's Humble) with 4.32m

January 24th this record was broken again with ~4.71m (thanks to /u/6hampagnepapi)

January 25th God's Plan did ~4.74m streams in the US alone, 8.5m globally (which is up from the 24th's 7.4m globally) making it three days of record breaking

[DISCUSSION] Quantifying who should be on the 2018 XXL Freshman List

The XXL Freshman list is always a big point of discussion on this sub and in general in hip hop. Even before the start of this year people were listing their picks. I decided to take it a step further and use numbers to project who will make the list.

I looked at four factors: Google Trends (over the past year), Spotify streams (top 5 tracks), Youtube views (top 5 tracks), and Billboard Hot 100 hits. With Billboard I made up a simple formula calles BP. Essentially BP rewards those who have more charting and higher charting tracks.

I measured these factors for a multitude of young up and comers including Cardi B, Lil Pump, Famous Dex, Rich The Kidd, Rich Brian, NBA YoungBoy, Nav, Moneybagg Yo, SahBabii, DDG, Dae Dae, Lil Skies, Noname, Young M.A., YBN Nahmir, YBN Almighty Jay, Ski Mask The Slump God, Lil Wop, Scarlxrd, Smokepurpp, KR, King Mez, Puffy L'z, Mo-G, Killy, Wifisfuneral, Yung Bans, Jay Fizzle, Lil Xan, Tay-K, Trippie Redd, 6ix9ine, Tee Grizzley, Smino, Lil Baby, YFN Lucci, and Jazz Cartier.

I made an app to feature curated songs made by users and unknown artists to help get them exposure and introduce others to new and upcoming artists

I recently created an app called Requiem Radio that features curated music submitted by unknown and growing artists. The set list as of right now includes 5 songs that will change every few days into a whole new list of songs. Clicking the artists name under the title of the track will take you to one of their social media pages so you can find more music by them if you're interested.

As of right now the app has a webpage version as well as an Android version with a native iOS version planned for the future. However, iOS users can just use the web version which is more stable anyways. The changing of the set list will always be announced with the track titles and the artists handle on Twitter @RQMRadio.
