If you're looking for a recommendation give a description/music link/artist so that other people will know what you want.

Example: I want to hear an artist that sounds like old Kanye (you can get more specific but that's enough imo). And then someone will respond with X, Y, and Z

You can also recommend an artist/project/scene

Example: You guys should check out DJ Mustard's mixtape Ketchup RIYL (recommended if you like) post-hyphy and minimalistic west coast beats.

Remember, the point of this thread is to share music, try not to post stuff that's already really popular unless it answers someone's question.

Also the more descriptive you guys are with your posts the easier it is to help you find what you want, just stating an artists name isn't that helpful since you might only like one specific aspect of that artist's music.

Look through past posts here

ALSO please check out this thread for a list of some of the most popular recommendation requests and the suggestions provided

Nicki's comment

The verse in question:

Brand new Chanels (Chanels)

I scuffed 'em runnin' from 12 (12)

Ain't make no commitment with none of you bitches

'Cause money is treatin' me well (uh uh)

If Nicki should show me her titty

Right hand on the Bible, I swear I won't tell (swear)

If I get to play with that kitty I wonder how many platinums we gon' sell (albums)

Pop a Perc and catch a feel (I pop one)

Now I cannot feel the wheel (woah)

My chest bad, give me chills

And the left hand on Richard Mille (ice)

Not the watch, but the price on the ice

If you don't know what that is (huh)

Public perception of Migos in one year

Posted: 27 Jan 2018 06:58 AM PST

After Culture II, I feel like what everybody was saying about Migos and Quavo especially has flipped. For instance last year this time everybody was calling Quavo the hook master and he could do no wrong. Meanwhile, Offset was the low-key favourite and Takeoff had fire verses when he did actually show up on track.

A year later and Quavo's hooks and melodies are thought to be boring and repetitive while Offset has run out of shit to say. Only Takeoff seems to have continued improving and keeping his flow, lyrics and hook game fresh.

What are y'all thoughts? Is this just an online thing or will we see a decline in their popularity, apart from the obvious hits (Stir Fry, Narcos, Walk it Talk it). Made Men and Notice me are personal faves.
