Recently, I had the chance to make a blendtape as part of a surprise birthday gift for Tip (that's why Pete Rock's birthday wish starts off the tape)....it was the soundtrack to a slideshow they put together featuring all of his friends/family & musical peers wishing him a happy bday. He's one of my musical idols, so I jumped at the chance. I had to keep it under wraps until they showed him the surprise, but I'm now allowed to share it with the world......thought r/hiphopheads would appreciate this....
