[Discussion] Who are the likely nominees right now for the rap album of the year Grammy?

Posted: 18 Sep 2017 09:44 PM PDT

To be eligible an album has to have been released between October 1st, 2016 to September 30th 2017. So we're basically at the point now where nothing else is coming that is likely to be in the mix for this year.

Who do you think will be nominated?

-Kendrick is no doubt getting nominated for Damn.

-Tribe will probably be nominated for Thank you 4 The Service.

-Jay Z for 4:44 is gonna get in.

After that, it's tough. A lot of possibilities.

Drake, Cole, Tyler, Logic, and Migos all have a chance. Some smaller artists like Vince, RTJ, and Joey have released critically acclaimed albums that probably won't get in but you never know. What do you guys think?
