Hey everyone!

We have the #1 Kanye West podcast, Watching the Throne, a lyrical analysis of Kanye West.

We somehow smooth talked our way into being one of the podcasts selected for this official SXSW Podcast Stage. Which blows my mind.

http://schedule.sxsw.com/2017/events/OE06896

The show is 100+ episodes. We jump between song analyses and news. We've covered all of College Dropout and then about half of every other album. Our bread and butter is lyrical analysis. We do insane deep-dives to explore the narratives behind Kanye's tracks. Dude is crazy good at storytelling and finding a unique angle in each song. We also believe Graduation, MBDTF, Yeezus, and Pablo are all narrative albums.

This time last year, we had about 4,000 downloads/plays total. We ended 2016, with over 100,000 iTunes downloads and another 100,000 SoundCloud plays.

Looking forward to any questions you have!

If anyone is around Austin for SXSW, the show is tomorrow, the 10th, at 3:30pm.

Edit: Should include our names. Chris (me) and Travis!

And if you want to peep the podcast: itunes, soundcloud

Edit 2: It's almost 9:08, LA time. I'm still answering questions as long as they're coming.
