Having seen this again in its entirety last night I thought it was worth sharing on here. The production value on this is astounding - When Say You Will crescendos with the guitars and the choir, I fell in love with the song all over again, the Cudi and Kanye chemistry is awesome here; Bad News is so so good (especially the way the gun shots are synched with the strings), Robocop sounds beautiful with the live orchestra; and Coldest Winter moved me to tears. One of my favorite things about Kanye is how much effort he puts into making his music look as good as it sounds; and this performance reinforced 808's as one of my favorite albums every made. Let me know what you guys' favorites from this performance were!

Welcome to month seven of the Marvel Hip-Hop Variants thread - Season Two

This month is pretty packed, not just for the typical expected covers (of which this month has some of my favourites) but also the addition of the first second printing variant, a second issue homage, as well as details on this seasons collection.

So... yeah. Fair aul spread this month with an old school feel with a few modern day rebels sprinkled in. However, like I mentioned there a few other things to take note of.

First off in relation to covers, while it isn't connected to any of the album cover releases,(5th April), there is a variant for America #2 inspired by Formation by Beyonce by Jow Quinones

On top of that, curiously enough, Marvel has also announced a team up with the Black Eyed Peas to release "Masters of the Sun: The Zombie Chronicles", a new series penned by Will.i.am, with art by Damion Scott, a person who long term frequents of these threads would recognise.

Furthermore, after the continued success of season two, Marvel has announced plans to cap off these past few months as the did last year, with a hardbound collection of each of the variant covers released thus far.

Due for release this Autumn, it can be preordered now.
