Have a question that you need answered? Was it not answered last week? Did not get a satisfying answer? Or a question that you feel is too small to make a new thread for? Maybe something you think everyone but you knows?

Ask that question in this thread.

Questions must be on topic, concise, and answerable. Answers must be a real answer that solves the question. Do not ask a question that can be covered in the resources section.

A$AP Rocky and crew caught on video attacking guy on the street in Stockholm

Posted: 01 Jul 2019 12:01 PM PDT

Video (TMZ): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8zAQmKgWB8

More info courtesy of /u/Nerd_gazm:

https://www.tmz.com/2019/07/01/asap-rocky-crew-jumps-guy-beatdown-stockholm-sweden/

"A$AP Rocky and his crew pummeled a guy in Sweden, leaving him battered and bloodied in the street ... according to witnesses on the scene.

TMZ obtained video that starts with the rapper having an intense convo with a couple of guys at Max restaurant in Stockholm Sunday night ... allegedly over Rocky breaking a pair of their headphones earlier.

Our sources say the 2 young men kept following AR and threatened to call the cops over the headphones. We're told someone stepped in to translate the argument between the 2 parties, and Rocky delivered this message -- stop following us ... or else.

Apparently, that's when another woman interrupted the convo, and accused one of the 2 men of grabbing her ass earlier. Witnesses say that's when A$AP and his crew decided to throw down.

The video shows Rocky -- in a white hoodie and green shorts -- absolutely toss one of the guys like a ragdoll. You can also hear someone smash a bottle during the fight. Three other men, apparently on Rocky's side -- jumped in and joined the beatdown, punching and kicking the guy.

Our sources say Rocky and his crew then took off, leaving the guy knocked out on the ground. An ambulance and cops showed up shortly after and took statements from witnesses.

Law enforcement sources tell us officers are looking into various fights that went down Sunday night in the center of Stockholm, but they had no info about A$AP Rocky being involved.

Sources close to A$AP Rocky's team tell us he and his friends were only responding to "an assault.""

[REVIEW] Oasis by Bad Bunny & J Balvin

Posted: 01 Jul 2019 08:39 PM PDT

This is arguably the greatest collaborative album worldwide since Kanye and Jay-Z's "Watch The Throne", if you don't know these two characters you're probably living under a rock for the past two years. J Balvin, Medellin's finest, Colombia's global ambassador of reggaeton, certified hitmaker along with Benito Martinez aka Bad Bunny, the golden boy of latin trap, a music phenomenon that has taken the world by storm with his singles, features and his debut album.

J Balvin comes from his 2018 album "Vibras", one of the best albums released last year with his mix of global sounds with Reggaeton (kinda like what Rosalia is doing right now with Flamenco) and a string of singles including billboard top 100 charting "I Can't Get Enough" in collaboration with Selena Gomez, benny blanco and Tainy (whom along with Sky produced this album), his ode to classic reggaeton "Reggaeton" and his tribute to Colombia and Medellin "La Rebelion" (probably one of the most underrated song of his). Bad Bunny on the other side had an amazing 2018, dominating every latin radio station with his string of singles including the reggaeton posse cut "Te Bote Remix", the tropical-infused feel good anthem "Estamos Bien" and an incredible Drake feature "MIA", and the cherry on top, his debut album where he experimented and pushed the limits of the genre forward.

Oasis is their victory lap, is their celebration where everybody is invited and it surely feels like one. From the first moment in the album, you are already welcomed into this world full of perreo, party and excitement. "Mojaita" is the perfect opener for an album like this, infused with a hard-hitting tropical dembow that brings memories of the old-school reggaeton, Bad Bunny and J Balvin delivered catchy and very danceable verses, trading places in the hook and working perfect in unison like a Dragon Ball Z fusion. The next song "Yo Le Llego" is a statement, with a beat filled with latin rhythms such as bungaloo and salsa, they both assured their global domination, rapping about the places they've conquered with their music. From the times of DJ Playero in the 90's to modern day, reggaeton has come a long way, it's incredible to see the biggest exponents of the genre right now dominating the charts and making trends with their sound.

The next song "Cuidao por Ahi" it's arguably the perreo song by definition from the album (although you can perrear to almost any song from this album). Provocative and great verses from both of this men and an impecable production from one of the greatest producers and veterans of the genre, Tainy, that included an ad-lib that reminded me of an old Wisin & Yandel song and a final breakdown that will be very popular in the clubs. "Que Pretendes" feels like the closest song to the mainstream reggaeton but even still, the flow, delivery and swag from both of these artists makes this track special, singing about a girl that's still trying to gain them back after the relationship ended. "La Cancion", a dancehall-R&B ballad, the most sentimental track of the album has Bad Bunny at it's peak in a beat that gives him space to croon about an ex-girlfriend. Special note to a bar from Balvin's verse "You're like the Dark Fantasy of Kanye West", the best compliment you can ever give a girl. J Balvin and Bad Bunny seamless trades verses and hooks with such a chemistry that it can be compared to the greatest duos from hip-hop. The production of this track is handled by Nicael that does a beautiful job mixing dancehall with r&b, plus that trumpet interlude right at the end of the track gives a magnificient touch to it.

One thing that characterizes both Bad Bunny and J Balvin it's that they're not afraid to try and experiment with sounds strangers to urban music, Bad Bunny did it in "x100pre"'s tracks like "Tenemos que Hablar", "Otra Noche en Miami" and "NI BIEN NI MAL" in a perfect way, and they tried to do exactly that but with an extra. Nobody could ever predict that the vocalist of "Los Enanitos Verdes", an Argentinian rock band, famous for their hit "Lamento Boliviano" will collaborate with two of the biggest reggaeton/trap stars of the world in such an incredible way. "Un Peso" is the riskiest track of the album, a fusion between Latin Rock and Latin Trap that works perfectly, great verses from Benito and Balvin, but Marciano Cantero absolutely steals the show in this one. As Alejandro Duque, general director of Universal Music Latino, the label that distributes the album said, Bad Bunny and J Balvin inviting Marciano Cantero is like what if Drake and Future invited Steven Tyler to participate in "What A Time To Be Alive". These kind of moments are what makes Bad Bunny and J Balvin, the most exciting and unpredictable artists of now. "Odio", a Trap/R&B track that reminds of "Diles", the breakout hit that launched Bad Bunny into stardom, the track is an ode to spite sex, where Bad Bunny turns love into a heated mix between argument and sex, romance never felt so evil like in this track. The last track of this (sadly) short album is "Como Un Bebe" which features Nigerian vocalist and afrobeat star Mr Eazi, finishing the album with a sweet mix between afrobeat, dancehall and r&b, it showcases the worldwide reach that these artists have and with that, it ends.

Oasis showcases the ability of both artists to make genuine hits with different sounds, showing their versatility and undeniable chemistry across every track. As it was said before, Oasis is a celebration, it's a party where everybody can feel included and part of, from a Russian tough guy to a Venezuelan teenager, it shows the evolution of a genre that twenty years ago was practically underground and didn't even have regional success, Reggaeton in the 90's was considered a crime, it was criticized by it's lyrics, by it's sound, and look at where it is right now. I can't finish this review without giving proper respect to the artists that made this happens, the pioneers of this genre such as Hector y Tito, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Wisin & Yandel, Tego Calderon and the producer duo Luny Tunes, they are responsible too for the worldwide success of reggaeton because without them I doubt that there will be a Bad Bunny, a J Balvin or Ozuna.

Oasis is the latest creative peak of Latin urban music but the sky's the limit.
