If you're looking for a recommendation give a description/music link/artist so that other people will know what you want.

Example: I want to hear an artist that sounds like old Kanye (you can get more specific but that's enough imo). And then someone will respond with X, Y, and Z

You can also recommend an artist/project/scene

Example: You guys should check out DJ Mustard's mixtape Ketchup RIYL (recommended if you like) post-hyphy and minimalistic west coast beats.

Remember, the point of this thread is to share music, try not to post stuff that's already really popular unless it answers someone's question.

Also the more descriptive you guys are with your posts the easier it is to help you find what you want, just stating an artists name isn't that helpful since you might only like one specific aspect of that artist's music.

Once they separated he often slept with different women with Tay in same bed. When it was his time to take care of Tay at his home, he wouldn't feed her or make her proper meals and would mainly leave Tay with Richanee Alcover's sister Chezca to care for her while he went out with Richanee Alcover and her son, to luxurious vacations and fancy dinners. While Chezca Alcover was babysitting Tay, she would scream at Tay and forcefully lock her in a dark closet for hours at a time for no reason, all with the knowledge and permission of Christopher John Hope. After this period Tay became very depressed and had to see a therapist every week, that is why Tay is full time with her Mom Angela. As Tay became famous and was finally starting to find happiness in her life, Christopher John Hope began trying to reinsert himself into her life in an attempt to bring her back down into the deep dark state that she was once in while in his care. #FreeLiltay"

Richanee Alcover and Christopher Hope are very lazy, reckless and irresponsible people. Years ago, while Tay's would temporarily visit Christopher John Hope at his home, they would mentally abuse Tay. Often, she nor Chris Hope would prepare Tay's school lunch, only to leave Tay starving while at school. Richanee Alcover swore and yelled at Tay every night, because she was very jealous of Tay, and didn't want her to be around. She and Hope left Tay at home with Alcover's sister, Chezca Alcover, when they went out with Richanee Alcover's son to parties and fancy dinners. This was when the physical abuse began. Tay was often locked into a small dark closet for hours by Chezca, all with the knowledge and permission from Chris Hope. This happened every time Tay was looked after by Richanee Alcover's sister. One time, Chezca Alcover was mad and slammed Tay's foot with the closet door and Tay began to bleed. Christopher John Hope knew all of this was going on, but did nothing, the police were involved but Chris Hope tried denying everything. These experiences caused Tay to fall into a state of depression where she started seeing a therapist every week. After these sessions, Tay refused to see Chris Hope and the people in his place ever again. #FreeLilTay"

Christopher Hope married 2 women at the same time. He has 2 wives : a Chinese wife, who lives in China (not Tay's mom), and a Filipino wife name Richanee Alcover ( she changed her name to Richanee Hope after she married to Chris Hope). Richanee Alcover who use to abuse Tay after she and her son moved into Christopher Hope's place. Chris Hope currently lives with Alcover in South Surrey, Canada. He registered a marriage with his Chinese wife in China, please see attached photocopy of his Chinese Marriage Certificate: Registration Date : Feb. 8,2006 Certificate No. SH 06052 Passport No. JP557736

When he was registering his marriage with his Filipino wife Richanee Alcover in BC, Canada, he was still legally married to his Chinese wife. Marrying two women at once is criminal polygamy. How dare Christopher Hope do it? BC law society needs to charge its member Christopher Hope for his criminal polygamy, And RCMP needs to investigate Hope's criminal case. #FreeLilTay"

"PART 8 While all this drama with Christopher John Hope and Tay was going on, @xxxtentacion was collaborating with Tay to run charity events, by using her following to spread positive messages, starting with a charity event that was supposed to take place in Florida. X got Tay and her Mom 2 plane tickets to Florida on June 18th, but Christopher John Hope refused to allow her to be a part of this event claiming that XXXTENTACION would be a negative influence on her life because of his past history. Many of the things he's said about X were disgusting and horrible, when in reality X was one of Tay's biggest inspirations. X knew about Tay's current situation and was trying his hardest to help Tay. But since Christopher John Hope didn't allow Tay to go to Florida, instead of going to the airport to pick Tay and her Mom up to plan for the Charity, X decided to go to the motorcycle dealership last minute after Christopher John Hope stopped everything. If Christopher John Hope had let Tay go to Florida on June 18th X would have been at the airport instead of the motorcycle dealership, and wouldve possibly not have been setup on June 18th. It's all so sad because X's last post announced the Charity event that was going to take place before Chris stopped things last minute. Christopher John Hope in a way contributed to X being set up.

Tay has big dreams and aspirations that she was willing to work hard to achieve. For the first time in her life she was happy, she felt like she was on top of the world, but then out of nowhere Christopher John Hope attempted to come back to her life only to forcefully try and drag her down by bringing her back into the dark state that he was once responsible for putting her into. I hate seeing this happen to a poor little girl that has lived a difficult life and was finally given a chance to break out of her misery, we cannot let Christopher John Hope destroy Tay. #LLJ #FreeLilTay"

DijahSB - LASFAS - I Wrote an Entire EP Based Off a Lupe Fiasco Lyric

So, Lupe is one of my favourite artists in the world, and on his EP "Pharoah Heights" he has a song called "Pyramid" where he spits "looking at space from a submarine"

That line always sat with me and gave me such a vivid visual and I wanted to expand on it. So I linked up with my boy Legin and we created a 6 track EP and tried to tell a story about the journey of being in the depths of the ocean, which is my lowest point, but seeing space and wanting to be out of that submarine and free to float and do whatever the hell I want. A lot of it is about my journey as an artist and also dealing with mental health and a lot of the other crap that comes along with being on this earth as an artist and trying to break free from where you feel you're stuck from. Here's a break down of each track:

looking at space from a submarine

This song is introducing the concept, looking at space from a submarine. to me this means I am at my lowest and I'm looking towards the journey of going to space, which would mean coming out of my lowest and ascending to become a higher being.

I'm in the ocean, looking up to the sky, I'm not out yet but I'm confident I can get out of it

I've finally reached land, but I realize now that imma need a lot more than what I have (which is nothing)

The trials and tribulations of being on earth, mostly to do with women, loving the city of Toronto/earth even though it feels like it doesn't love me

on my way to the moon but I'm having a bit of trouble (turbulence) on the way

I'm on the moon, I've reached space but what is out here for me? how do I feel knowing I've gotten to where I was destined to be? Is this the end of my journey? Or is space just another place I have to ascend from?
