If you're looking for a recommendation give a description/music link/artist so that other people will know what you want.

Example: I want to hear an artist that sounds like old Kanye (you can get more specific but that's enough imo). And then someone will respond with X, Y, and Z

You can also recommend an artist/project/scene

Example: You guys should check out DJ Mustard's mixtape Ketchup RIYL (recommended if you like) post-hyphy and minimalistic west coast beats.

Remember, the point of this thread is to share music, try not to post stuff that's already really popular unless it answers someone's question.

Also the more descriptive you guys are with your posts the easier it is to help you find what you want, just stating an artists name isn't that helpful since you might only like one specific aspect of that artist's music.

Hello! Welcome to a thread that has plans to continue on the last Sunday of every month (or first Saturday in this case, the holiday delayed this a bit).

This thread intends to give visibility to artists with intersections that may get overlooked in the realm of hip hop (and the music industry in general).

Treat this as you would any daily music discussion, but keep on the topic of solo acts or bands fronted by and/or consisting of female and gender non-conforming people, from any genre and time period. Anything you've heard recently that you like? Anything you've re-visited? Been to any good shows? Are you a musician yourself? Links are strongly encouraged.

This is meant to be a positive space to uplift artists, rather than exclusively critique!

I'm looking forward to reading what everyone has to share! Comments on how to structure this monthly project are encouraged as well!

TL;DR : uzi pulled up on rich the kid to talk it out, it doesn't go well and uzi wants to fight, rich does the plug run and runs away, uzi chases rich until uzi finally catches up to him at starbucks where he swings at rich and rich jumps over the counter of the starbucks and turns into rich the barista.
