Rich the Kid is in the hospital

He was robbed at gunpoint in a home invasion:

Rich the Kid was attacked and robbed at gunpoint in Los Angeles ... and the beatdown was so severe it landed him in the hospital.

Sources close to the rapper tell us he was at his girlfriend Tori Brixx's home Thursday night when two masked men entered demanding cash and jewelry. We're told Rich tried to fight them off, and that three more men came into the home brandishing guns.

Our sources say the men beat on Rich, and got away with a significant amount of cash and jewelry. We've confirmed the rapper was admitted to a hospital for treatment. A photo of him in a hospital bed popped up on his IG page this morning.

We're told the cops were called after the attack, but we've yet to confirm a report was taken with any law enforcement agencies.

Sources close to Rich's team say they believe the attack was an inside job.

10:22 AM PT -- Our sources say Tori was also hospitalized for injuries sustained during the attack, but was discharged Friday morning.

10:42 AM PT -- The LAPD confirms they're investigating a home invasion robbery ... there are no suspects or arrests at this time.

2018 XXL Freestyle/Cypher Dates

Back again from last year with another one of these posts. It looks like with the way XXL has their site set up, these will be the dates the freestyles and interviews get releases (these could change over time because Aminé was originally supposed to go before Kap-G and Kamaiyah but kept getting moved):

Also, I'm just going to put this out here because there seem to be misconceptions about Trippie Redd not being on a cypher because of his allegations, however, he wasn't in any of the cypher group shots and the cyphers are pre-recorded about one or two months prior, so it looks like he just did a French Montana 2012 and didn't take part of the cyphers.

[FIRST IMPRESSIONS] Jay Rock - Redemption

My album of the year so far. Been on repeat all day.

Some great introspection mixed in with some classic hard Jay Rock songs as well as a few ignorant bangers. Right up there with 90059 for me in his discography, above Follow Me Home. Features were pretty good as well. I only wish there were some more grimy beats that Jay raps so well over.

Overall a 8-8.5/10 for me.
