If you're looking for a recommendation give a description/music link/artist so that other people will know what you want.

Example: I want to hear an artist that sounds like old Kanye (you can get more specific but that's enough imo). And then someone will respond with X, Y, and Z

You can also recommend an artist/project/scene

Example: You guys should check out DJ Mustard's mixtape Ketchup RIYL (recommended if you like) post-hyphy and minimalistic west coast beats.

Remember, the point of this thread is to share music, try not to post stuff that's already really popular unless it answers someone's question.

Also the more descriptive you guys are with your posts the easier it is to help you find what you want, just stating an artists name isn't that helpful since you might only like one specific aspect of that artist's music.

Lil B just came out at Rolling Loud and cancelled his set, because A Boogie jumped him backstage

This the craziest shit lmao. Lil B was added to the program, but just came out at the last minute and said that he can't do his set cause A Boogie With The Hoodie and his crew jumped him backstage and stole his shit. Apparently it's cause he said something about A Boogie's music lmao. He came out and said it's still all love tho and new music soon but the set is cancelled and he's gonna go to the doctor.

EDIT: To add insult to injury, Lil B's set replaced Ski Mask. So neither of the sets that were supposed to happen at that time didn't. The crowd was chanting "Fuck Boogie" after Based God walked off

Like damn, I remember being a freshmen in high school bumping this the day it came out and having Swimming Pools on repeat. The album got me through a rough stretch in life, even though not much of the content related to my life the album was just so good it could take me away. I think out of all Kendrick's albums its my favorite, theres just some things on it I dont think can be outdone. I also wont forget the hype from this album, every car was bumping Backseat Freestyle, everyone was saying Bitch Dont Kill My Vibe, everyone was going nuts to maad city. Like damn im definitely getting hit with nostalgia hard right now. I remember this album being the biggest thing from like October-Febuary.

I let a lil bit of personal flair get in this post but just wanna appreciate a classic on its 5th anniversary. Fr though how has it been 5 years?

told my grandma what i'm worth and she say "oh my god"

dolph making it big time and it makes me super happy because there aren't many guys that deserve it more than him

wasn't a fan of the dram/ty dolla features, but apart from that i loved just about everything about it

favourite songs are believe me, while u here, thinking out loud, eddie cane, drippy, but just about every song (except the dram one) is going to stay in rotation for a while

side note: dolph easily got one of the best voices in the game right now
