What's up r/HipHopHeads! I'm JT Clemente, the filmmaker who directed, shot, and edited the full-length documentary for Logic's recent album, "Vinyl Days", which is streaming for free on YouTube now! It captures the creation of the record in Logic's home over the course of ten days.

I'm also responsible for most of the visual direction during Logic's Vinyl Days-era, his day-to-day videography, and a few of his other past music videos amongst others. Ask me any burning questions about the documentary, the process, and anything else about capturing visuals in the music world!

Kid Cudi tweeted out a photo of an updated Rolling Loud Miami poster. The official Rolling Loud Twitter account hasn't mentioned any changes to the lineup for next weekend's festival. The Rolling Loud website still has Ye on the poster.

Edit: Rolling Loud has officially announced the lineup change on Instagram. "Due to circumstances outside of our control, Ye will no longer be performing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022. Please welcome @kidcudi!"

Tariq Cherif, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Rolling Loud, commented, "Tried to convince Ye to stay on the lineup but he wasn't having it 🤷‍♂️" on the Instagram post announcing the lineup change.

Edit 2: Another statement from Rolling Loud. Also, there is a screenshot of a comment from Tariq Cherif stating that the venue would not allow Travis Scott to perform due to the Astroworld incident, but I have not been able to find the actual comment on Instagram. It might have been deleted.

After fishing mainly out of his pool of Mobb Deep affiliates and West Coast Boom Bap (e.g. Dilated Peoples) artist for his first two albums (1st Infantry, 2004 and Chemical Warfare, 2009), Alchemist's 2012 album Russian Roulette features a lot of artists that have laid the ground for the boom bap rennaisance in the past decade. The album itself is a blueprint for that sound, although the choice of only incorporating Soviet era samples makes the tape sound unique to this day.

It's the 10 year anniversary of Nas's 11th studio album Life is Good. Has the album held up? Where does this album rank in his discography for you? What are your favorite songs?

I remember at the time there was a feeling of good but nothing too special or new from Nas. I think time has been very kind to this album though. Besides Summer on Smash being straight trash lol the rest of the album is full of great storytelling and the sharp lyricism and smooth flows Nas has been revered for. Locomotive, A Queens Story, Cherry Wine, and Bye Bye Baby are some of my favorites but the whole album is quality.
