People think that K-Dot is rolling out something big this Friday on the nine-year anniversary of "good kid, m.A.A.d city."

[F]ans are convinced that a new album is closer to being released than we think. On Wednesday (October 20), several leaks surfaced online, approximately six at last count, and they have caused a stir on social media.

One leak in particular titled "Therapy Session #9" has quickly circulated [..] There have been rumors that the Kendrick rollout begins this Friday as October 22 marks the nine-year anniversary of good kid, m.A.A.d city.

Background

2 months ago, Kendrick Lamar posted a note called "nu thoughts" on oklama.com:

I spend most of my days with fleeting thoughts. Writing. Listening. And collecting old Beach cruisers. The morning rides keep me on a hill of silence.

he whole goal when we started this was to make music, make money and make history. We did those things 10 times over and then some. TDE and its artists have provided a way to end generational curses that we were all personally born into over the last 17 years in the business.

With this being Dot's last album on TDE, this is more of a VICTORY LAP, a celebration. I know he will be successful in whatever it is he decides to do and will have our FULL support.

As for Top Dawg Entertainment, we will continue to grow, develop and give artists the platform to expand into whatever way they choose.

Kendrick has done two features this year for his cousin Baby Keem: family ties and range brothers

In 2020, he was featured on Busta Rhymes' Look Over Your Shoulder

In 2019, he was featured on SiR's Hair Down, 2 Chainz' Momma I Hit a Lick, Raphael Saadiq's Real View, Beyoncé's NILE, and Dreamville's Under the Sun. There were also 3 leaks that year, ostensibly titled "Guilty Conscience", "Somebody," and "Prayer."

He will be performing at the Day N Vegas festival, which is on Nov. 12-14, 2021. and at the Super Bowl in February with Dr. Dre, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg.
