Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free have launched a company called pgLang. They say: "It is not a 'record label,' a 'movie studio,' or a 'publishing house.' This is something new."

So, it's already been 5 years. Still remains my favourite Maxo Kream project far and away, and one of my favourite trap projects OAT. The dark beats combined with Maxo's cold delivery is one of a kind. I wish he'd kept pursuing this sound instead of the direction he's been following since (Punken and Brandon Banks). I also wish he'd left out a few features here cause he outshines almost everyone, but, alas.

  • How has the mixtape aged? What are your favourite songs, beats & verses? How does it rank in Maxo Kream's discography?

  • Why is Thirteen into Paranoia one of the best 1-2 punches to come out of trap music?

Available on #RSD20 (April 18). We made a live album with our friend Christopher Fleeger

Christopher recorded all the shows on the 2nd leg of our US tour with the Flaming Lips. But he didn't point microphones at the stage, rather he snaked them down sink drains, puttied them to rattling windows and pipes, clipped them to willing roadies, etc.

One show we recorded through contact microphones on the Lips's 60" gong. Another was recorded with mics hung from a tree outside the venue. Christopher crowd surfed with a microphone in his mouth...

We then spent more than a year syncing and editing all the audio to make this 2xLP. It's at once a live album, a remix album, a tour document, and a piece of musique concrete.

According to this tweet this is for the vinyl release of the album, the digital version will be released a while later, but they did not give a specific date.

I'm honestly not sure when this happened but suddenly here they are and I haven't seen any other post discussing it. These are personally some of my favorite music projects in existence. If you haven't heard them yet now is the perfect time.

What's also exciting is that this means Meek and Knxwledge have established some level of a working relationship, which has something Knxwledge fans have been hoping for for years.

EDIT: Apparently this part a big upload of lots of his Bandcamp discography. He talked about this happening soon on his Twitch channel a while ago. Again a dream come true for fans who theorized the logistics of samples may have kept the releases off of commercial services. This dude has a hugely dedicated niche fanbase online & we're all happy to see him get more of the attention he deserves.
