If you're looking for a recommendation give a description/music link/artist so that other people will know what you want.

Example: I want to hear an artist that sounds like old Kanye (you can get more specific but that's enough imo). And then someone will respond with X, Y, and Z

You can also recommend an artist/project/scene

Example: You guys should check out DJ Mustard's mixtape Ketchup RIYL (recommended if you like) post-hyphy and minimalistic west coast beats.

Remember, the point of this thread is to share music, try not to post stuff that's already really popular unless it answers someone's question.

Also the more descriptive you guys are with your posts the easier it is to help you find what you want, just stating an artists name isn't that helpful since you might only like one specific aspect of that artist's music.

Together, the pair are known as MadGibbs, the group behind blaxploitation-indebted epic Piñata, along with it's ferocious sequel Bandana (out in June).

The duo may not strategize when it comes to making music together, but they do have one thing planned; a third album. "Piñata, Bandana and Montana. It's a trilogy," says Gibbs.

Today marks the 5 year anniversary of one of the greatest mixtapes of all time, something some people might feel the need to scoff at for whatever reason, and what I feel to be Mac's best piece of work

Littered with features from close friends from Q to Vince, Thundercat to Earl, and with some surprise spots from artists such as Mike Jones (who?) and Rick Ross it's long and self indulgent and is a deep dive into the mind of someone not in a good place occasionally having a good time to distract from everything else

I can't believe it's been 5 years honestly, it feels like it just came out yesterday it feels just as fresh and I don't know who to push at but this needs to be on streaming services (all samples intact, Meatballs and all) like yesterday
