I'm not sure if this is the best answer because I don't really keep track of his music, but I'll go with Trippie Redd. I feel like he was losing steam and I was hearing about him a lot less. Then Miss the Rage came and almost got him a top 10 hit. I feel like that song helped him stay away relevant

Michalis Antwniadis aka DP8, 38 years old, has passed away.

One of the most critically acclaimed hip hop MCs of Greece passed away today. His genre was boom-bap style hip hop. Very real talk in his lyrics about society, poverty, war on drugs, the system in general. He was very known in the greek underground hip hop scene. May he rest in peace.

He was from the island of Rhodes and he started Emceeing at 1998.

Obvious examples are Chance The Rapper's The Big Day, MC Hammer's The Funky Headhunter, and Eminem's Revival (Eminem obviously survived revival commercially, but it tarnished his legacy somewhat)
