What’s an album you absolutely loved when it came out that has not aged well/fallen off for you since?

Posted: 17 Jan 2022 10:58 PM PST

Saw a post with the opposite so figured I'd ask this cause it'd be interesting. For me, it's got to be Oxymoron by Schoolboy Q. This was one of those albums that I listened to top to bottom when it first came out, but now I can barely listen to any of it. Its not just overplayed for me, but it just doesn't sound compelling anymore given how hip hop has evolved.

Bird in the Trap Sing McKnight by Travis Scott is also another that had wide recognition, but pretty much seems to have been memory-holed by the music community.

DAMN. is also another album I couldn't stop listening to when it first dropped, but seems very boring to me nowadays.
