[DISCUSSION] GZA - Liquid Swords (25 Years Later)

Posted: 07 Nov 2020 08:13 PM PST

Unanimously considered one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time, GZA proved that his lyrical substance could stand out even in the context of the Wu Tang Clan. It's crazy that this and Cuban Linx came out only a few months apart and it's a testament to how dominant Wu Tang was in the 90s. What are your favorite songs on this album? Where does it rank among Wu Tang releases? And where would you rank GZA as an all time great?

I wanted to listen to some great or classic political/social albums. Basically any album that talks about political/societal issues. Name your top 5 or top 10. Also please dont include To Pimp A butterfly as I already listened to it a million times.
