Some bum redditor who lives in Canada. I love hockey, cats, wine, and gardening. I am an acoustic guitarist and a classically trained pianist who was born and raised on old country and rock/pop, and gravitated to hip-hop in my early teens.

Someone in this community is all I know. Not necessarily someone with a long post history, or r/hiphopheads history, for that matter. Tell me a story. Tell me about your love of Nas and what would make this show great. Tell me how you got into rap music, or Nas. Whether you've seen him before or not, whether or not you've ever been to Las Vegas, I just want someone to have fun at this show.

Got a buddy/wife/girlfriend you can go with? Great! Going solo? Also great! Maybe I can pair up two redditors to use the tickets! Already got a trip booked to Vegas around that time? Great! Live in Vegas? Great! I don't care who you are, where you're from, what you did, etc, etc.

WHY AM I DOING THIS?

​

I am a big fan of Nas. I know every word to Illmatic and consider it to be my personal favourite record of all time. I bought presale tickets for his Las Vegas show when I saw it was the only one without Mary J. Blige, and figured I'd sort out details later. Due to unexpected financial commitments, I am no longer unable to go, and have to cut my losses. I have not purchased a flight, rented a car, booked a hotel room, or any of that, so my only loss thus far will be the tickets.

​

I have a very great, very chill life with my wife and five cats. I am blessed enough to have seen Nas co-headline with Damian Marley at Rock the Bells in Calgary, AB in 2009, and don't consider this a huge loss. I'm paying it forward, so to speak. I have spent countless, countless hours on this board, and would love a fellow HHH to go to this show on my dime.

I have quite the extensive post history, and have moderated r/OldTimeHockey for several years. Mods, if some sort of proof is required about the legitimacy of this post, PM me, and I'd be happy to touch base with some sort of proof.
